The leadership of the Social Democratic (SDP) at the national level have appointed Adamawa State born politician, Hon (Pharm) Wafarninyi Theman as its North East National Vice Chairman.
A statement signed by party’s National Public Secretary, Amb Rufus Aiyegba said SDP appointed Theman and Mrs Rosemary Asoquo Effiong, a member of the National Working Committee (NWC) in order to reinforce its national and zonal structures.
The party said Theman, an astute agent of global change and a fellow of Management consultant (FIMC) who was a Governorship Aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) merited the position.

Theman, a life coach and trainer was said to have the political records of a former lawmaker and chaired many committees. He was duly elected state Secretary of APC in Adamawa in 2018.
According to the party, the new appointments will be ratified in the coming SDP national congress.
