S’Africa: Senate Angry over Attacks on Nigerians

The Nigerian Senate, on Wednesday, fumed over the recent attacks on Nigerians in South Africa by South Africans, as senators took turns to criticise the development, calling on the Federal Government to take drastic measures to stem the trend.
The lawmakers further passed a resolution urging the government to immediately recall Nigeria’s High Commissioner to South Africa.
These were some of the fallouts of the five-prayer motion sponsored by Senate Leader, Victor Ndoma-Egba, and other 106 senators.
Other resolutions, which the lawmakers passed, included that the Federal Government officially file a suit against the Zulu King before the International Criminal Court (ICC) for allegedly masterminding the attacks.
