With ‘Sade’, the world will further know me-Gabriel Afolayan
Talented Nollywood actor/singer, Gabriel Afolayan is exciting featuring on the new upcoming animation movie titled ‘Sade’. While speaking to DailyTimes, Gabriel disclosed that with this platform he is further sure that the world will know and reckon with his brand.
The coming movie has a significant importance as it is first Nigerian animated movie to feature an all Nigerian cast with a musical inclusion.
In Sade, Gabriel plays the role of a dog, known as Big Joe, who can be likened to an animal with street credibility.
It equally features stellar cast that includes Ngozi Nwosu, Biodun Aleja, Jude Orhorha, Yemi Shodimu, Judith Audu, Kate Adepegba, Deji Adenuga, Omowunmi Dada, Jimi Solanke, Bimbo Manuel amongst others.
However speaking on the difference between regular movie and animation, Gabriel said ‘So going through the vocal exercise was one of those things I cherish the most because it felt like I have done it before and it’s actually my very first time doing a full length major animated movie.
I’m pretty excited about it and I thank God that I was able to position myself where I was found to play the character’.
