SA marks a week without recording a new COVID-19 case

South Australia has recorded no new cases of COVID-19 overnight, marking a week the state has gone without a positive diagnosis.

South Australia has 14 active cases of coronavirus, with just one case currently in an intensive care unit.

Approximately 96 per cent of South Australians who have contracted the disease have recovered.

SA Premier Steven Marshall used his opening address to echo the PM’s comments for Australians to download the COVIDSafe app.

“Signing up to the app is the ticket to easing restrictions,” said Mr Marshall.

“It will allow us to turbocharge contact tracing.”
