Bastian Schweinsteiger is preparing to leave Manchester United in January, according to The Sun.
The German has been working with United staff to increase his fitness ahead of his Old Trafford departure having been frozen out by manager Jose Mourinho.
Schweinsteiger is said to be open to a move to the MLS or a return to Germany in the next transfer window following a difficult 18 months in Manchester.
