…As Fire Consumes 6 Month Old Baby In Lagos

No fewer than fouteen persons have been reported dead in a road crash involving two vehicles

According to National Emergency Management Agency’s (NEMA) Southwest spokesman, Mr Ibrahim Farinloye, the incident happened close to Ago Babalola Seminary.

He said, “Two vehicles coming from Akure Ilesa end collided close to Ago Babalola Seminary. The vehicle from Akure with the wedding train had 5 people dead while the one going to Akure had 9 people dead on the spot, making 14 people death on the spot from the crash.”

Joseph Ayo Babalola Seminary is located at Ikeji near Ilesa, Osun state.

Also, a fire outbreak has consumed a six month-old baby at Ipaja area of Lagos State.

Farinloye said, the incident occurred at House 52, CA Streetn Shagari Estate, Mosan Okunola, Ipaja, Lagos.

He said the fire was caused by candle stick.

“The mother put on the candle and stayed outside while the baby was sleeping inside the room.”
