Rivers PDP Chairman salutes Wike at 49

The Rivers State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Chief Felix Obuah has described Governor Nyesom Wike as a courageous, devoted, God-sent leader.
The message was contained in a press statement issued in Port Harcourt on Tuesday in  honour of the governor who clocked 49 years Tuesday December 13 2016.
The statement which was signed by the Chairman’s Publicity Secretary, Mr. Jerry Needam, read in part: “Your Excellency, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, CON, Governor of Rivers State, it’s for your like that it is reasoned that “far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure, than to take rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in the grey twilight that knows not victory nor defeat.
“Since your assumption of office May 29, 2015, you have been under constant watch by independent assessors and observers who have adjudged Your Excellency unequaled in leadership qualities as corroborated by both the Sun and the Independent Newspapers respectively who bestowed on Your Excellency the 2016 Governor of the year award.
“This is in appreciation of your rare courage in a world that is in constant conspiracy against the brave, pragmatic leadership, and commitment to the ideals of Democracy centered on justice, fairness to all, massive infrastructural development and creating in men and women the desire and will to pursue their private and group happiness without interference,” he stated.
He said that the governor had already left a legacy for which he would be remembered even by his detractors, saying that it was the collective prayer of the state that God would continue to strengthen him as he persevered to take the people of Rivers State to the promised land.
