Rivers: Ex-Reps Deputy Speaker may dump APC

Former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Prince Chibudom Nwuche may dump the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for the newly registered Advanced Peoples Democratic Alliance (APDA).

Daily Times gathered that already, APDA is wooing Nwuche to contest the 2019 governorship election in Rivers State on its platform.

A source close to APDA in the state said the former Deputy Speaker is nationally recognised without any blemish, saying that the party carried out an investigation on Nwuche and came to the conclusion that not only is he credible, but also widely acceptable in Rivers State.
