Rihanna Becomes First Black Woman to Be the Face of Dior

Singer and fashion icon, Rihanna has been named the face for the fourth installment of Dior’s Secret Garden campaign. Rihanna’s involvement in the campaign marks her as the first black woman to be the face of the French luxury label. Rihanna also joins a slew of actresses, including Jennifer Lawrence, Marion Cotillard and Natalie Portman, who are all faces of different facets of the French label. The singer who was honoured last year with the Fashion Icon award at the 2014 CFDA fashion awards, will also be continuing her foray in the fashion industry by partnering with Puma, where she will be the creative director and global ambassador for its women’s collection.
