Reversing the Rot in Nigeria by Olusegun Oyegbami

Nigeria has been described with so many adjectives ranging from different perspectives judging by the state of the nation.
Nigeria has been run and entrusted to some political stalwart who at the end of the day betrayed people’s loyalty. These sum up the glaring fact that the country has under-performed on all positive indices of material development given the huge human potentials and the natural resources available to it over the years. Meanwhile, despite the various challenges the country is saddled with, some still believed it does not require rocket science to turn Nigeria around to face a progressive positive path.
According to Olusegun Oyegbami, in his book, reversing the Rot in Nigeria, it just requires honesty, clear thinking, fashioning out rational policies and a track to take the country to her zenith.
In his words “We need to know where the rain started beating us and where and how it is still beating us to conquered our incessant crisis”
In case you don’t know, Olusegun Olatunde Oyegbami was at the University of Ibadan between 1965 and 1971 as a National Award scholar and majored in English Language under Dr. (now Prof. Emeritus) Ayo Banjo. He has worked in the down-stream sector of the Petroleum Industry since January 1977 to date, starting from employment as a marketing representative, progressing to Area Manager in Mobil Oil Nig. Plc and presently running a petrol station in Lagos.
One of the things he enjoy doing is playing table tennis and commenting on current National and World affairs with view to impacting positively on the Nigerian society and humanity at large.
