Renewed Hope Conference plans bigger 2015 for Tinubu govt

BY STEPHEN GBADAMOSI

Popular pro-Bola Ahmed Tinubu group, the Renewed Hope Global Virtual Town Hall Conference has said it is planning to continue the projection of the Bola Tinubu-led Federal Government with more vigour in 2015.

This is just as the body has suspended it’s weekly meeting till next year
Chairman and Chief Host of the Conference, Ambassador Joseph Kolawole Adebola, made these disclosures in a statement he signed and made available to journalists at the weekend.

“Following the hugely successful Awards and Dinner Event at the Presidential Villa last Saturday, 23rd November, which was our end of year get-together with our leaders and other progressive Nigerians who came from across the globe to celebrate with us, your much-loved weekly virtual conference will be rested for the remainder of the year and will return in January 2025.

“This is to enable our management to retool and re-calibrate the platform and get it ready for the new year when we hope to return bigger and better with more VVIPs to continue with our weekly heart-to-heart engagement with Nigerians at home and across Diaspora on matters of the state.

“To say the Renewed Hope Global Virtual Town Hall Conference has been a veritable dais that added and continues to add value to this administration will be a gross understatement.

“With the calibre of VVIPs that graciously agreed to grace our platform in 2024 and the grandiose heart-to-heart engagements they had with Nigerians across the globe, especially the opportunities they provided to participants who joined the weekly conferences with proposals on how to better enhance the Renewed Hope Agenda in the now famous preparation meets opportunity scenarios that the weekly virtual conference is now renowned.

“It is safe to say that the Renewed Hope Global Virtual Town Hall Conference has, indeed, become a positive force for projecting the image of Nigeria and Nigerians in a positive light to the wider world.

“The weekly parley has become renowned as a platform of convergence between our leaders and Nigerians at home and abroad where the inner workings of the government of the day is freely discussed and ideas on how to move the country forward and ensuring it takes its rightful place within the comity of nations are discussed in a no-holds-barred fashion.

“Amongst the highlights of the weekly parley is the preparation meets opportunity scenarios alluded to above from which some participants benefitted, as well as yours truly being appointed an Ambassador of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) by its Executive Chairman, Mr. Ola Olukoyede, and was awarded the prestigious badge of honour at the EFCC office in Abuja.

“I feel humbled by this honour and daily praying for divine grace, strength, and wisdom to excel in the enormous responsibilities that come with the appointment.

“Our appreciation goes to our Grand Patron, Hon. Babatunde Ogala, SAN, for his fatherly support, guidance, and invaluable advice throughout the year.

“We also extend our appreciation to all the VVIPs who graciously availed us of their time despite their busy schedules and engaged with Nigerians across the globe as well as to millions of our followers who regularly tuned in to BEN TV and watched us on our various social media handles, including participants who joined the weekly conference throughout the year.

“You are the reason the weekly parley has become a household brand, and we will never disappoint or take you for granted,” Adebola said.
