Religious group endorses Ambode for second term

It was another endorsement for incumbent governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode recently as he was unanimous endorsed by the Nigeria Inter Religion Committee (NIREC).
Speaking during the Inauguration ceremony of the association at Agbado / Oke Odo Local Government Development Area, the chairman of the association who is also the Chief Imam of Ikola and co chairman chosen by Governor Ambode to oversee the issue of religious crisis in Agbado -Oke -Odo area, Alhaji Mohammud Ajani Raji stated that though the association is not formed for any political aim but that with what Ambode has done he deserved a second term.
“Our association is not a political group, but to look into the issue of religious crisis which we have been doing very well, thanks to the coorporation from our brothers and sister in Christendom. But having said that, we should not look beyond the fact that Governor Ambode has done extremely well to go for another term.”
The chairman of Agbado -Oke Odo Arogun, Augustine Adeoye who also spoke during the inauguration added his support to the association
“We shall do all what is within our powers to support your association to bring peace among the religions in Nigeria and also tribes.”
