We are re-branding Man O’ War – National Commandant

The Federal Government has deemed it necessary to bring a change in the Nigeria society through the Man O’ War Nigeria, but it must start from the members of Man O’ War, Nigeria themselves.

These are the words of the National Commandant of Man O’ War, Nigeria Col. Sanni Depsia Adamu while inaugurating and decorating state officers in Umuahia, stating that there is the need for change of attitude and actions on the part of members.

“There is the serious need for change. Man O’ War, Nigeria has gone to a level where change should come and it has started from the national level and will soon get to the unit level”, the national Commandant represented by the Assistant Commandant, South East, Uche Egbuziem said.

He said he was inaugurating “a new face of state officers to take the message down to the units. Man O’ War is an institution set aside by the Federal Government to impart on the society through citizenship education. Man O’ War is sitting on a sensitive gap”.

Speaking as himself, Assistant Commandant, South East, Uche Egbuziem said the organization is united in the south east and called on all state commands in the area to be “united and strong”, rating the south east commands as number one in the organization throughout the country.

According to him, “the unity of Man O’ War and the unity of Nigeria cannot be compromised at any level” and gave a mini lecture on ethics of the profession to the members.

Earlier in his speech, the Abia state Commandant of Man O’ War, Bar. Mike Ibeleme assured his members that as the organization is being re-organized, he will do all he can to better their conditions in the state.

He described Man O” War as regimented and a paramilitary, while urging members to abide by the code of conduct of the organization, stating that members are all leaders while the organization itself is about leadership training, stating “we are trained to train the society”.

“Anywhere you see yourself, consider yourself as a leader”, he admonished them and advised them to behave like leaders.
