Randy Vice Principal gets life sentence for raping 12-yr-old pupil

A High Court in Ado Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital, has sentenced a randy former Vice Principal of St. Mary’s Girls Grammar School, Ikole-Ekiti, Mr. Taiwo Ajayi, to life imprisonment for raping a 12-year-old.

The court said Ajayi committed the offence in 2014 and the offence was contrary to Section 31(2) of the Child Rights Law of Ekiti State 2012.

The convict was the Vice Principal (Academics) at the time he committed the offence on March 18, 2014.

Ajayi reportedly lured the girl into his office, locked the door from behind and raped her on the table while covering her mouth with a piece of cloth.

A teacher had knocked on the door while Ajayi was carrying out the act, but he refused to open the door, and warned his victim not to tell anybody.
