PTDF raises alarm over fraudulent scholarship application portal
The Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) has raised the alarm over the activities of fraudulent online publications calling on unsuspecting persons to apply for scholarship awards.
A statement made available to newsmen by the Head Press and External Relations PTDF, Kalu Otisi on Tuesday in Abuja, warns that the fund has long concluded the processes for the PTDF 2019/2020 scholarship award.
It added that the fraudsters’ use of PDTF is a means to confuse and lure people into applying for the scholarship.
He advised persons interested in the PTDF scholarship scheme to tread with caution by only visiting its main websites, social media platforms or visit its corporate office, so as not to fall victims to the fraudulent publication and fall victim to the illicit intentions of the imposters.
