President Muhammadu Buhari has landed in London, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, has said.
According to Punch, Adesina, replying to a text, said the he arrived in London Thursday night and will return to the country on Monday. He wrote:
We just landed in London. He is in transit; to be back in Nigeria on Monday.
Adesina did not state the reason for the President’s visit.
President Buhari, who returned from the UK in August, after over a 100 days medical leave, has spent over 160 non-consecutive days in the country where he is being treated for an undisclosed ailment.
He left from New York, where he was for the 72nd session of the UN General Assembly, where he addressed other world leaders.
