Polls: PDP will emerge victorious in Kwara – Gov Ahmed

Kwara state Governor, Alh Abdulfatah Ahmed yesterday expressed confidence that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kwara will emerge victorious in Saturday’s presidential and National Assembly elections in the state. The Governor said from the enthusiasm shown by the people of the state so far during the party’s campaign rally across the state, the PDP is coasting home to victory. The governor who addressed PDP supporters in Iporin, Oke-Oyi , and Akerebiata; all in Ilorin East local government area of the state urged the people to troop out en-mass and vote for the PDP’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar and Kwara central senatorial candidate, Dr Bukola Saraki and all the party’s candidates for national assembly across the state. He urged them to repeat same on March 2nd by voting for PDP’s governorship candidate in the state, Hon. Razak Atunwa and all the party’s candidates for the state house of assembly seats. Ahmed assured the people of the state of new lease of life under the PDP government if they vote for Atiku and all PDP candidates in the elections. He said the opposition All Progressives Congress has no plans for the people of the state but was only out to deceive the people and get to power by all means. Also speaking, Atunwa challenged those in opposition to list their contributions to the uplifment of the state and its people. Atunwa assured that, if elected his government will end the current hardship the people have been subjected to under the APC led federal government.
