Photo news: GIP Chairman, Bayo Ogunlesi pays courtesy call to VP Osinbajo
Ogun State Born Bayo Ogunlesi, Chairman & Managing Partner, Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP) was on a courtesy visit to VP Prof Osinbajo earlier today.
Recall that in December 2016, US President Trump announced Bayo Ogunlesi, among other business leaders, as part of Donald Trump’s Strategic and Policy Advisory Council.
On July 24, 2014, he was named Lead Director Of Goldman Sachs.
In October 2012, Ogunlesi was appointed to the Board of Directors at Goldman Sachs.
In 2009, GIP acquired the majority shares in London Gatwick Airport in a deal worth £1.455 billion. The Nigerian press has given Ogunlesi the nickname, “The Man Who Bought Gatwick Airport.”
In 2012, GIP also bought the Edinburgh Airport in Scotland.
