PFN Felicitates with Nigerians

The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) has felicitated with Nigerians, particularly the Christians on the occasion of this year’s Christmas celebration.

National President of the Fellowship, Rev Dr. Felix Omobude in a press statement in Benin City, Edo state, congratulated all Nigerians for being alive and well to witness yet another Christmas.

Dr. Omobude who is also the General Superintendent of New Covenant Gospel Church, saluted the Christians and non Christians alike and urged them not to celebrate and forget the reason for the season.

“Jesus Christ, the saviour of the world is the reason for the season. Therefore, while we celebrate and not forget the reason for the season”, he said.

The PFN leader however commended all Nigerians for their personal and collective sacrifices towards national peace, harmony, unity and prosperity of the country.

He called on Nigerians to continue to lookup to God with great hope and faith irrespective of their religious affiliations, noting that Nigerians have every reason to be thankful to God for keeping the nation together as one, despite the numerous challenges militating against the country.

“Our prayer is that Nigeria and indeed Nigerians will in this season enjoy peace free of wanton destruction of lives and property and that God will continue to intervene in the present challenges facing the country,” he stated.
