Peace gives way for disquiet in Nasarawa as Herdsmen quit Benue

Three days after the implementation of the anti open grazing and ranches establishment law in Benue State, peace is gradually washing away on boarder areas of Nasarawa State with Benue State as Fulani Herdsmen that came out from Benue State destroyed any farm land they come across, rendering many farmers crop less.
It has been alleged that the leadership of Miyeiti Allah Kaure had held meetings in Nigeria and abroad and resolved to attack Benue State over ban on open grazing in the state, Nasarawa state bordered Benue at the southern part started suffering the invasion plan.
The Fulani herdsmen who are tagged as the “Forth deadliest terrorist group in the world by the global terrorist index as published in the Vanguard Newspaper on January 1, 2017 has the capacity, capability and means to execute their threats .
A prominent farmer in Kuduku, Keana Local Government Area of Nasarawa State Adom Adom told our correspondent that herdsmen in the locality held clandestine meetings which according to him were strategizing on how to tackle the Tiv extraction along the border areas of Keana, Doma, Awe and Obi Local Government Areas of Nasarawa state which have started implementation by massively destroying farm products in that terrain.
Adom Advie the leadership of Miyetti Allah in the country to study the anti open grazing and ranches establishment law extensively and dialogue with the said state Governor rather than sour relationship “Benue State is among the Northern states of the federation so the spirit of brotherliness should also come to mind”
He therefore called on the Nasarawa State Governor Tanko Al-makura to assist the citizens of Nasarawa State at the border areas by providing security to calm the troubled points so as not to distract his senatorial ambition come 2019.
