PDP hopeful of regaining power in Kogi – Chairman

 

Hon. Muhammed Sanni Gambo, Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in Kogi State has expressed confidence that the party will regain power in the state come 2027.

Hopeful of reclaiming the Lugard House, Kogi State seat of government, Hon. Gambo, in a statement in Lokoja on Sunday said the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC)’s time in the state has elapsed and they should start preparing their handing over notes.

Gambo went ahead to say that the PDP will not only take over Lugard House but also Aso Rock seat of the Federal Government .

According the him, the party currently has a strong network and structures across the state and nationwide.

He described Kogi State as a PDP state, saying his emergence as Chairman has reignited the winning streak of the PDP.

The Chairman urged Kogi people to remain faithful and supportive of the PDP, emphasizing the need for peace and obedience to law, especially during periods of insecurity like now.

Chairman Gambo assured that the PDP is willing to collaborate with the government to evolve strategies and measures that would help address prevailing security matters.
