PDP Guber Candidate Promises To Win Taraba For Party

 

Taraba State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial flag bearer, Arc. Darius Dickson Ishaku, has assured that he would win the governorship election, come this Saturday.
The governorship hopeful, said that he would win the election for his party the PDP, so as to ensure that the party continue with it’s landmark achievements that are ongoing across the state, and even surpass them.
He made this pledge in a statement issued by his media adviser, Emmanuel Iffer, in Jalingo, today.
According to Ishaku, PDP in Taraba was sure of a victorious outing, during the Saturday’s governorship and state assembly polls, come Saturday.
“We in Taraba PDP, are sure of wining the state for our party again, both at the gubernatorial and state assembly elections, that is holding tomorrow.”
He added that his confidence was as a result of the acceptability of his candidature, and that of other PDP flag bearers across the state.
Ishaku, also noted that he and the party had campaigned vigorous, and also remained focused on the main issues that were of concerned to the Taraba electorates, whom he described as wonderful people, who also deserved the very best in terms of governance.
” Because we know the importance of the electorate, we had embarked on an aggressive campaign, talking to the people, addressing their critical areas of need, and I think Taraba electorates are wonderful, they know what they want and also ask the right questions.”
He equally urged PDP supporters across the state, not to be discouraged by the outcome of the presidential election, assuring that PDP family in the state, was still strong as ever, and would be much stronger, after Saturday election.
The gubernatorial candidate, added that the party’s performance in Taraba, during the last presidential and national assembly election was evidence of its strength and unity, which he tasked them to repeat at next round of polls.
“our performance during last election is evidence of strength in the state, as can be seen, apart from presidential, we won all the three senatorial zones, this is what I want us all to repeat when we go out to vote for both governor and members of assembly.”
Ishaku, then reiterate his commitment to turning the fortunes of the state around for the better in every aspect, when he assumed duty as governor, come May.
