PDP chieftain berates Kaduna gov el-Rufa’i’s bad comment on Ahmadu Bello

A Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Stalwart and former state publicity secretary of the party in Bauchi, Alhaji Bashir Bukar Rimin Zayam on Thursday carpeted governor of Kaduna State Mallam Nasir el-Rufa’I over his recent negative statements on the leaders of first republic, and late Sir Ahmadu Bello Sardauna Sokoto Premier of Northern Nigeria, on the governor to apologize to Nigerians especially People from the northern part of the country
The PDP Chieftain who stated this in Bauchi while addressing a press conference, said Late Sardauna was a man of honour and integrity who spent a fulfilled life as a leader, governed his subjects with the fear of God and was just and fair to all.
According to him, Late Sardauna left an exemplary life worthy of emulation to all leaders and Nigerians
“It was shameful and unfortunate, negative comments were coming from a serving Governor, one of the present leaders in the North, he should apologize to Nigerians even the university the Governor graduated from was built by late Sardauna”, Ziyam who was visibly angry said.
He advised Elrufai to withdraw his statement and apologize to Nigerians and the North in order to protect his integrity.
On Atiku’s return to PDP, Rimin Zayam said his return is a blessing and plus to the party, because Atiku is a leader with large followers and he belongs to the PDP since and we thank almighty Allah that allowed him to come back his home.
He advised Atiku to be more patient and allow Democracy take it course not to allow his ambition to ride over stand in the party “ if he want to contest for any seat he should do it alongside other members of the part as enshrined in the constitution of the party .
Rimin Zayam expressed optimism that the national convention of the party will succeed and urge Nigerians to support the party in its effort to get new national executives of the party and expressed that the party will win the 2019 polls in the country.
