Pastor evicts church member for missing service in Delta

Angry Pastor of a Popular Pentecostal Church in Asaba, Delta State (name withheld) on Wednesday around Ifant Jesus quarters in Asaba ordered the eviction of a member of his Church from the house he built for rents.

It what looks like a mild drama, the pastor with retuny of body guards, it was gathered, allegedly pounced on the member (name withheld) and tore his clothes before the guards threw his Properties outside the house amidst shouting spree.

But the Acting Police Public Relations officer in the State, ASP Chucks Oriewezele who confirmed the incident, said that the victim was disgraced by the Pastor who gave him a room apartment for free adding that rather than honouring the gesture, the victim allegedly turned out to be evil and randy with all manners women he brings to his room,a situation he dumped the pastor’s church, disclosing that the matter was being handled by the Police.

Sources said the victim had promised to be of good behaviour as well as becoming full member of the pastor’s church If given the room to stay, a condition that was accepted by the pastor, but this was not to be when after two months of the victim’s stay in the house allegedly joined the bad wagons of sleeping with all manners of women

Speaking to our correspondent in Asaba, the Pastor who narrated his ordeals in the hands of the victim on condition of anonymity said;’ the victim begged me for a room in tears that he has no Job and cannot afford to rent a room apartment and I obliged him a room in my house around Ifant Jesus road and instead of attending church with me on Sundays, he will be sleeping with all manners of women in the house including smoking in the house and I asked him to leave he refused and I asked my boys to move him out’

But the victim who also did not want to be mentioned in the Print denied all the allegations against him saying that he was evicted because the pastor was allegedly caught with a house wife adding that he brought to him hired thugs to remove him from the house after he was servely beating with inflicted injuries on him,a situation he reported to the police.
