Parliamentary system of govt best for Nigeria – Dan Pass

Dan saran Kano, Alhaji Gambo Dan Pass, a top notch in the All Progressives Congress (APC) has described the present system of government in the country as too expensive for Nigeria and African countries at large.

According to him, the present system of government in the country is being abused and not properly managed, as such he suggest the country go back to parliamentary system of government which allows for check and balances.

Dan Pass stated that the level of corruption in the country has succeeded in crippling virtually every aspect of governance in the country which has given birth to lots of problems such as the current agitations being experienced.

“Politicians have wielded so much power that needs to be checked. People are suffering and solutions to their problem is nowhere in sight.”

He noted that the government must heed to the present call for restructuring in the country if truly the leaders have the best for Nigeria at heart.

He advised that a new Nigeria where the masses or the common man can afford to cope with his day to day needs and be useful to himself, his community and nation at large be created. This he said will put an end to agitations and militancy of all kind.

“Nigeria is like a mother to other African countries, people look up to us. We must remember the legacies of Sir Ahmadu Bello, Obafemi Awolowo, Nnamdi Azikiwe and apply their principles of governance to make things better for our nation,” he said.
