Advancing reasons why Adeleke must be sacked, the APC national scribe said “less than a year after, those that wanted to destroy the good fortune of our state are already lamenting. Those that they put in government in the state don’t know how to govern.

“They are appointing SSA, Government House Pool; SSA Oranmiyan Newtown; SSA, children; SSA swimming pool and so on. They must be sacked from the government.

“When we sack him (Adeleke) in 2026, he will go for three days Diploma, as usual, to learn about NGO after he failed to sack Iyaloja General. The APC is an organised party. Let’s show more commitment.”

He, however, called for unity of purpose among APC members stressing the need to close ranks , resolve their differences and work towards a stronger party that is capable of sacking the PDP administration in 2026.

He said “you must work towards building a strong party. You must work very hard to reposition it for a better outing in the next round of elections.”

Mallam Olawale Rasheed, who is the spokesperson to the state government and Media Adviser to Governor Adeleke, however, dismissed Basiru’s statement as ranting of a failed politician.

He told the Daily Times that Governor Adeleke could not be distracted by such careless talk to “party members who are yet to wake from the slumber of being defeated by the PDP.

“The APC and its leaders like Senator Anibola are yet to come to terms that they were roundly rejected by the people of Osun vote that widely voted Adeleke and the PDP last year.
