Osinbajo expected at Anglican Communion meeting in Minna

The Vice president, Professor Yemi Osinbajo is expected as Special guest of honour at the opening ceremony of the 2018 Standing Committee Meeting of the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) holding on Wednesday in Minna, the Niger State capital.

The Communicator of the Diocese of Minna, (Anglican Communion) Elder Akin Alofetekun in a statement also disclosed that the Primate of the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), the Most Revd. Nicholas D. Okoh will be leading a team of about 1000 archbishops, bishops and their wives as well as a good number of Laitys to Minna, to attend the meeting holding at the Cathedral Church of St Peter.

The meeting which started on Monday will end on Thursday during which issues affecting the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) and issues of national and global concern will be discussed.
