Osinbajo appoints 21 new Perm Secs

The Federal Government, Thursday approved the appointment of 21 new Permanent Secretaries in the Federal Civil Service.

Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, gave the approval in statement signed by the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs Winifred Oyo-Ita, in Abuja.

According to Oyo-Ita, their selection was done after a very rigorous process including written examination and oral interview.

They are: Ehuria Georgina Ekeoma (Abia); Akpan Edet Sunday (Akwa Ibom); Anagbogu Ifeoma Nkiruka (Anambra); Wilson-Jack Didi Esther (Bayelsa); Gekpe Grace Isu (Cross River); and Aliboh Leon Lawrence (Delta).

Others are: Uwaifo Osarenoma Clement (Edo); Folayan Ayodele Olaniyi (Ekiti); Osuji Ndubisi Marcellinus (Imo); Mu’Azu Abdulkadir (Kaduna); Sulaiman Mustapha Lawal (Kano); Abdulllahi Abdulazeez Marshi (Katsina); and Adebiyi Bolaji Adekunle (Lagos). Others appointed are: Ibrahim Musa Wen (Nasarawa); Odewale Samson Olajide (Ogun); Adesola Olusade (Ondo); Adekunle Olusegun Adeyemi (Oyo); Nabasu Bitrus Bako (Plateau); Ekaro Comfort Chukumuebobo (Rivers); Umar Mohammed Bello (Sokoto); and Aduda Gabriel Tanimu (Federal Capital Territory).

The statement further said that their portfolios would be announced in due course.
