Oshiomhole’s Wedding; Buhari, IBB, Others To Attend
As the governor of Edo state, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole ties the knot today, 15th of May, the president elect, General Muhammadu Buhari and his wife Aisha, are among dignitaries expected grace the occasion.
Oshiomhole would be getting married to his fiancé, Miss Lara Fortes, in Iyamho, Etsako West Local Government Area of the state.
Other dignitaries expected to grace the occasion include former Head of State, Gen. Ibrahim Babangida, former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the national leader of All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, National Chairman of APC, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State and others.
This will be Oshiomhole’s second marriage following the death of his first wife, Clara on December 8, 2010. She died after an unsuccessful battle with cancer.
Traditional rulers in the state including the Oba of Benin had always pressure Oshiomhole to remarry to avoid being alone.
