Oraganizer of IPOB Rally Declared Wanted

A key figure and member of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra.(IPOB) Ndurue Okwudiri Innocent has been declared wanted by the Nigerian Police for his role in organizing rallies against the Federal government across the South-eastern part of the country,
A statement by the police stated that Ndurue Okwudiri Innocent is among the people responsible for organizing some of the major protests in the region namely :a protest in Onitsha Anambra State to rally support for the release of Nnamdi Kalu on December 5th 2015; February 9th Aba protest in Abia state by IPOB and May 30th Onitsha rally in Anambra State in honour of fallen heroes of the Biafra war.
Also Owerri rally in Imo state on May 30th 2017 and September 14 2017 rally at Afaraukwu Ibeku in Abia state in Nnamdi Kalu hometown .
Ndurue Okwudiri Innocent and his IPOB members according to the statement are responsible for disruption of public peace, destruction of public property and facilities and treasonable felony .
It was gathered that some of the arrested leaders of the proscribed IPOB are expected to face prosecution for various offences bothering on treasonable felony against the Federal government and disruption of public peace and destruction of public properties
Some of the arrested leaders are Ndukwe Chukwudi, John Igwe, Igbokwe Jerome, Nnamdi Chukwuemeka, Obinna Onyeama and Walters Anayo.
The statement further stated that Ndurue Okwudiri Innocent as one of the key figure and member of the IPOB participated actively in all the rallies after he organized all the rallies and protests in the region is wanted by the Nigerian Police for several offences bothering on treasonable felony to incite the South-eastern people against the Federal government of Nigeria.
Ndurue Okwudiri Innocent amongst the South-eastern people of Nigeria is popularly referred to as the “community organizers.”
