OPC Kwara lauds Buhari over crushing of boko haram

The Kwara state Coordinator of the Odua People’s Congress (OPC), Comrade Salami Maroof Olanrewaju, has commended President Muhammadu Buhari and the Nigeria military for crushing the dreaded Boko Haram terrorists and flushing them out of Sambisa forest in Borno state.
Olanrewaju who made this commendation while speaking to journalists in Ilorin on Wednesday, said that the federal government must be lauded for decimating the insurgents.
He noted that during the presidential campaign in 2015, the president had pledged to defeat Boko Haram within six month, noting that at last the Nigeria Army has finally actualized it.
Olarenwaju gave kudos to the military for this feat, admonishing them not relent their efforts as to finally defeat Boko Haram in Nigeria.
He stated that OPC will continue to partner with security agents to ensure that the remnants of the insurgents in the country were crushed to avoid their infiltrating the society.
He called on general public to be very vigilant and observant of those coming in and out of their areas so as not to allow the fleeing insurgents to hibernate anywhere in the country.
The OPC state coordinator who bemoaned the tendencies of the national leader, Otunba Gani Adams, noted that his attitude negates the principle for which OPC was formed.
He lamented that a tree does not make a forest, saying that Gani Adams has seen himself as Lord and fighting everybody around him.
He disclosed that very soon, there will be change of baton at the national hierarchy of the organisation for betterment of the Yoruba race.
