Omo-Agege is next Delta governor, says APC

The All Progressives Congress (APC,) Delta state chapter on Monday reacted to a publication with the subject matter “DELTA 2023: WHY DSP OMO AGEGE WILL NOT BE GOVERNOR” published 19th October 2021, by one Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, a politically aide of Governor of Delta State, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa.

In a statement signed by Pius Ituru of the Directorate of Media & Publicity APC Delta State, the party states; that “it is pertinent to state that it would not have been necessary to respond to such petty media ranting of a politically unstable media hack whose characteristic modus operandi is driven by stomach infrastructure rather than seeking the common good of all Deltans”.

The statement went further to stress that it has therefore become necessary to ensure that political media charlatans like Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe and his underperforming paymaster, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, together with their failed PDP government in Delta state do not succeed in manipulating the minds of Deltans in order to distract the people of the State from the gross criminal misgovernance of Delta State and the impending implosion that is imminent in a party that has failed to meet the yearnings and aspirations of the ordinary people of the state.

Fred Latimore’s misguided vituperation are laced with so much self contradictions and delusions which are concomitant with cerebral deficient authors of his like, amply qualifies him for admission into any of the mental health institutions for psychiatric evaluation.

First, Fred Latimore, who it seems now has a bout of amnesia, claimed that APC only exist on social media, as his memory failed to recall that, despite PDP acclaimed massive grassroot structures, the APC massively defeated the PDP in Delta Central to claim the Senatorial seat where PDP media charlatans like Fred Latimore hails from.

It is noteworthy that the APC’s emphatic victory was not only that of His Excellency, distinguished Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, but also included a Federal House of Representatives and State House of Assembly seats respectively.

Secondly, it is also laughable that Fred Latimore could insinuate that the APC has no social contract with Deltans. This is the height of ignorance from a supposed learned personality.

It wouldn’t have been of any concern to us if an uneducated person had claimed such, but not the likes of Fred Latimore, who parades several certificates without a show of common sense.

It is either he is ignorant of the concept of social contract or he deliberately chose to misuse or misapply it with the intention of deluding his unsuspecting readers.

The statement reads further ‘that It is now necessary for the masses to know that in the negation of the essential elements of social contract, it is the governor Ifeanyi Okowa’s PDP led government that has reneged on it duties and obligations it owes the people of Delta state through its substantially insensitive, anti-people maladministration in the provision of the dividends of democracy by the persistent failure in facilitating the infrastructural development of the State.

Rather, it has been a deliberate policy of the Okowa administration to impoverish and dehumanize the people of Delta State as a reward for voting them into office.

Fortunately, it is crystal clear that Deltans have began to realize that the 22 years of PDP misrule and misgovernance characterized by years of excessive looting and embezzlement of state funds has brought untold hardship, misery, and pains to them, inspite of the humongous monthly revenue allocations from the federal government, internally generated revenue (IGR) and many other sources of income accrued to the state.

The statement pointed out the fact, that Fred Latimore and other PDP pawns of their puppet master, should know that His Excellency Senator Ovie Omo-Agege has been deeply committed and consistent in honouring his part of the social contract with his Senatorial district and by extension, to other Deltans more than what can be said of the PDP and the rudderless, evil and exploitative administration of Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, who as an executive governor, has done nothing more than being an ethnic jingoist, interested only in his Owa Alero empire to the detriment of other ethnic nationalities in Delta State.
