Omawunmi Prepares for Traditional Wedding

In just three weeks time, Warri-born artiste, Omawumi Megbele will finally leave the world of spinsterhood for a married life. That’s because she’s on her way to completing the last phase of her marital rites.  A date has already been picked, and Life & Times can authoritatively tell you that the singer’s traditional wedding ceremony, is scheduled for April 18, 2015 in Warri, Delta state.  She began her engagement on September 13, 2014 in Delta State, after which a court wedding on January 16, 2015 at the Ikoyi Registry in Lagos, soon followed. Omawunmi’s career became enmeshed in controversy after she became pregnant with her daughter few years back. Many wanted to know who the father of her baby was but she did the job of keeping the secret away from everyone until last year, when she eventually unveiled the identity of her man. She’s now expecting her second child with her husband, Toyin Yusuf.
