Olawale dreams high with Giwa
Giwa FC attacking midfielder, Isiaka Olawale has said he is bringing his wealth of experience and maturity to the camp of the Tin City side.
The former Dolphins (Rivers United) ace announced his debut for the Jos side with a superb goal in the NPFL matchday 5 clash 1-2 loss at Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) in Ibadan on Sunday.
Olawale said he hope to up his goal scoring prowess in subsequent matches aimed at ensuring the Jos Elephant end the ongoing top flight on high.
“Of course, I will certainly bring added value, experience and maturity to Giwa FC quest for laurels in the ongoing league season as well as serve as role model to the youngsters in the team.
“I have a lot to offer and bring to the camp of the side most especially to ensure the Jos outfit move forward.
“I’m happy to announce my arrival even as a substitute with a fantastic goal against 3SC though it counted for nothing as we went ahead to lose the match.
“For me the debut goal is a morale boost as I hope to up my goal scoring ability in the NPFL matchday 6 clash against Sunshine Stars in Jos on Sunday and take it up to the subsequent matches.
“The league is still wide open at the moment but I believe Giwa FC will achieve a landmark at the end of the season,” said the former Lobi Stars and Kwara United goal king.
Giwa FC have chalked up four points from possible 15 in the five-week old Nigerian top flight though with a game to spare against Nasarawa United.
