Olamide takes OLIC4 to Teslim Balogun Stadium

As a yearly tradition, Wo’ crooner Olamide who recently released his fourth studio album ‘Lagos Nawa’ will treating his fans to an array of entertainment at the fourth edition of his concert tagged Olamide Live in Lagos: The Concert.

Organized by YBNL, Red & Axla, Pentagon and Powered by the Lagos State Government, this year’s edition is slated to hold at the Teslim Balogun Stadium Surulere, Lagos on the 17th December, 2017 at 12noon.

The choice of the stadium which has the capacity of over 25,000 people as the venue for a rapper’s concert is undoubtedly another first as concerts go in Lagos.
With the unbelievable success of the three previous editions, Olamide Live in Concert I:

The Beast Unleased ranked the biggest concert of 2014, Olamide live in concert II: Beast Move a sold-out show at Eko Convention Centre and Olamide live in Concert III Beast Mode, which was arguably the most successful concert of 2016 with the Governor of Lagos State, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode and his wife, Oba Saheed Elegushi, Senator Dino Melaye and many other dignitaries in attendance.

Olamide Live in Lagos: The concert will definitely bring Lagos to a halt with the release of his new album titled ‘Lagos Na Wa’. It is clear that 2017, just like every other year in recent memory, is the year of Olamide as he gives back to his fans.

Aquila star, Airboy releases Ayepo remix

Aquila Records’ golden boy Airboy has had an amazing year, and as he celebrates his birthday today, he’s gifting fans everywhere the remix (audio & video) to his monster hit “Ayepo”, featuring Burna Boy.
Ayepo dropped back in 2016, and has since gone on to become one of the biggest songs on the continent of Africa, peaking at no 5 on the iTunes Africa chart.

Ayepo RMX features Burna Boy and it is the first single off Airboy’s forthcoming EP titled “Vibes”. It is produced by Aquila Records resident producer, Phantom, and mastered by George Nathaniel.
The funky, colorful and all-round beautiful video was shot on location in Lagos by Adasa Cookey’s Squareball production team.
The Vibes EP officially drops on 6th December, same day Airboy is billed to thrill fans at his first ever Industry Nite, happening at the New African Shrine.

Yemi Alade to release 3rd album next month
……unveils artwork

Mama Africa as she is fondly called Yemi Alade has revealed that all is now set towards the release of her 15 tracks third album titled ‘Black Magic’ due for release come December 15, 2017.

The track listing for the album is collaboration-heavy and features Nigerian A-List Hip Hop artistes such as Falz and Olamide. A variety of producers also contributed to Alade’s upcoming body of work. The album features production credit from DJ Coublon, V-Tek, Echo, KrizBeatz, Sarz, Young D, 2Kriss, Sess, Philkeyz, Fliptyce and IAmBeat.
Alade has already released two singles from the LP: ‘Knack Am’ and ‘Single and Searching feat. Falz’.

Ric Hassani, Aramide, TJan, Johnny Drille to Perform at Live & Wavy

Lovers of good music are in for a treat this festive season as music concert Live & Wavy- the full expression of music, is set to have its maiden edition at Freedom Park, Lagos Island on Friday December 8, 2017.

Headlined by multiple Headies Awards nominee Ric Hassani, Live & Wavy will feature performances from other top-rated alternative music artistes including Aramide, TJan, Jon Ogah, Bez, JohnnyDrille, Isaac Geralds, Yung L amongst others.

Commenting on his involvement, Ric Hassani said “I am very excited to be headlining Live & Wavy. My musical journey has been challenging but interesting and I am so appreciative of the friends and fans who have supported me thus far. I am convinced this concert is going to be wonderful and memorable for those who show up.”
Live & Wavy was birthed out of the demand for more music shows dedicated to showcase diverse musical talents present in Nigeria and it aims to enthral attendees with heart-rending and melodious musical performances.
