Okowa will surpass 2017 achievements – Aide

Delta State Governor’s Aide on Special Duties, Mr Ossai Ovie Success has said his Principal and Delta State Governor Sen Ifeanyi Okowa has performed well in the year 2017 but will do more in 2018.

Ossai disclosed this during an interview at the end of year thanksgiving service organized by Okowa at Government House Chapel Asaba.

According to Ossai, Gov Ifeanyi Okowa has successfully completed gigantic projects across the state.

“2017 worth celebrating looking at the Lord’s Goodness and the Achievements of Delta State Government led by Gov Ifeanyi Okowa.

A lot have been achieved under the SMART AGENDA encapsulated in the acronym SMART which means; Strategic Wealth creation projects and provision of jobs for all Deltans;

Meaningful peace building platforms aimed at political and social harmony; Agricultural reforms and accelerated industrialization; Relevant Health and Education policies; Transformed environment through urban renewal”

“Gov Okowa has done a lot in delighting the people of Delta State in their quest for quality roads which no doubt is one of the dividends of democracy.

“As at today, Gov Okowa has completed 55 standard road projects in 2017 alone , the state youth empowerment Programmes has yielded some fruitful result as a result of Gov Okowa determination of reducing the rate of unemployment in Delta State.

“Just recently, Gov Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, Gov Tambuwal of Sokoto State, former governor of Delta State Chief James Ibori Commissioned massive projects and also witnessed the beneficiaries exhibiting their products as a result of the Delta State Youths Empowerment programmes through the Job and Wealth Creation Scheme,” he said while assuring Deltans of Gov Ifeanyi Okowa’s will of bringing more transformations to Delta State.
