Okorocha accuses military of aiding rigging in Imo
Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State has again caused the security agencies and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of influencing the outcome of the just concluded presidential and National elections results in favour of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Imo State.
Okorocha who made the accusations in Owerri during a meeting of the leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from the South East zone alleged that the Local Government Returning officers colluded with the INEC officials and the military to write results to favour the PDP candidates.
Insisting that the APC won the March 28 presidential and National Assembly polls in Imo State, Okorocha specifically accused the military of intimidating the voters, stating that the people of the state are battle ready to confront the security agencies if the alleged harassment repeated again.
The Imo State governor who disclosed that the meeting was conveyed by the South East APC leaders to articulate their agenda to the incoming federal government before other people could play a fast one on them.
Some of the APC leaders present include, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu, Senator Chris Ngige, South East zonal National Vice Chairman of the party, Chief Emma Elugwa, National Organizing Secretary, Senator Osita Izunazo.
