Okigwe Catholic Diocese endorses Ihedioha
The governorship campaign of the Imo State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) standard bearer and Deputy Speaker House Of Representatives, Chief Emeka Ihedioha at the weekend received a boost as the Catholic Diocese of Okigwe endorsed his candidature.
The endorsement was pronounced during an interactive session with the PDP gubernatorial candidate, Chief Ihedioha organized by the Okigwe Catholic Diocese at the Scared Heart Catholic Cathedral Okigwe.
Chief Ihedioha who was subjected to rigorous questions bothering on almost all the sectors of the state economy, impressed the audience and priests who ware at the event with his well thought out policies and programmes which according to him, will trigger development and economic recovery of the State. The values of the education system, Local Government System, health system and traditional institutions would be restored.
Responding, Rev. Fr. Cajetan Ehim- Vicar General of Okigwe Dioceses who represented the Bishop of the Diocese commended the Deputy Speaker for his track records of achievements and policies for the state and assured him of the total support of the Diocese at the Governorship elections.

Ahead of this year’s General Elections, the Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives and Imo State PDP Governorship Candidate, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha has received the endorsement of the Catholic Diocese of Okigwe, Imo State.
The endorsement was pronounced at an interactive session with the Guber hopeful, organised by the Diocese at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cathedral, Okigwe, Imo State.
