NYSC longest surviving tool for national unity – Gov. Bello

The National Youth Service Corps NYSC Scheme has been described as the longest surviving tool for National Unity and Integration.
This was the submission of the Niger state governor Abubakar Sanni Bello at the Passing out Parade (POP) of 2019 batch A orientation course at Paiko.
The governor represented by the State Commissioner of Ministry of Youth Affairs, Honorable Samaila Ibrahim recalled that the scheme has come a long way in addressing the issue of Nigeria diversity.
Governor Sanni Bello remarked that successive administration has fine-tune it usefulness geared towards promoting the Nation’s development.
According to him, the scheme neutrality had placed it as one of the platform for conducting a free and fair election in the country as demonstrated during the 2019 general elections and other previous ones.
The NYSC Niger State Coordinator, Mrs Funmilayo Ajayi congratulated the corps members and charged them to be tool for service to the fatherland.
She confirmed that the corps members were inducted in Military drill, entrepreneurship skills and leadership style.
