Nov. guber poll: We’ll work hard for Obiano’s victory- Ogbaru market leader

The chairman of General Old Motor Spare Parts Dealers Association, Okpoko in Ogbaru Local Government Area of Anambra State, Nze Cyprain Ezechukwu, has assured that traders in the market will work hard to ensure that Governor Willie Obiano succeeds in his second term bid.

Nze Ezechukwu, who spoke in company of his secretary, Oroke Philemon Igwe and the Financial Secretary, said that with N10 million project the Governor has demonstrated that he is a humane and sensitive leader.

“Since 1985, no Governor in Anambra State has remembered this market. Obiano’s approval and commencement of the building of a N10 million project has impressed us.

We consider ourselves privileged to have benefitted from the projects. And that was due to the benevolence of Governor Obiano. Our project is market hall, which we have never had or even contemplated of building in the nearest future,” he said.

The market leader, who was also full of praises for the Governor for the security he provided in the state since he assumed office as the Governor, said that Obiano’s good jobs are many and that they cannot enumerate them.

He said that it is the performance of Obiano plus the fact that he remembered the traders that they have vowed to vote for him in November 18 Governorship election.

He said: “We are assuring him of our support especially in this election. We will troupe out to vote for him. This project is enough to convince us to work for his success at the poll”.

Continuing, he said: “Our hall is at the lintel level. We know he will complete it. We will work with other markets to return Obiano. We have agreed in this market not only to work for Obiano but also to vote for him”.

Ezechukwu however said that one of their achievements is the existence of peace, which he promised to sustain at all cost to ensure conducive business environment.

The market leader however called on the governor to come their rescue by constructing the road linking them with Okpoko called Ogbuagu – Ngbuka Amazu road.

Ezechukwu commended Chief Okwudili Nzenwankwo, the President – General of Amalgamated Markets Traders of Anambra State (AMATAS) for the good works he has been doing markets in the state, of which they were beneficiary.
