‘Nobody can accuse President Buhari of corruption’ Borno state governor, Kashim Shettima, says

In his recent interview with Channels TV, Borno state governor, Kashim Shettima, said no one can accuse President Buhari of being involved in any act of corruption. According to him, Buhari is a man of impeccable credentials.

“No matter what you will accuse Buhari of, nobody can accuse Buhari of corruption. He is stabilizing factor in this country. He is a man of impeccable credentials.” he said
Speaking on calls for President Buhari to run for a second term come 2019, Governor Shettima noted that President Buhari has his health challenge to take care of and that he is no longer a young man. He, however, stated that the decision to run or not lies solely on  Buhari.

“That decision should be made by the President. Nobody should ask him not to contest. In the same vein, nobody should push him to contest. He has his own health to take care of, he’s not a young man by any standard. The Nation truly needs the wisdom, the integrity, the commitment of the likes of Buhari but believe me, whatever decision he takes, we are solidly behind him” he said
