NOA upgrades campaign against COVID-19 spread in Nasarawa

With the relaxation of lockdown by the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19, the National Orientation Agency (NOA) in Nasarawa state on Thursday began a motorised campaign against the spread of the coronavirus.

Priscilla Gondo-Aluor, director of NOA, in the state, who led management of the Nasarawa office of the agency on the campaign to the 13 local government areas, started the sensitization exercise at the palace of the emir of Lafia in the state capital.

Mrs. Gondo-Aluor said: “The sensitisation is necessitated by the new euphoria that greeted further relaxation in business activities like markets, banks, hotel and so should not be misconstrued as the state is free of the pandemic.
