No decision taken on Kano state Chairman – APC

The ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), speaking through its National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi has said that the party has not taken any decision on Kano state chapter of the party chairman as reported in some national media recently.

The party in a press statement yesterday (Monday) said, “The attention of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been drawn to some media reports that the Chairman of the Kano State APC chapter, Alhaji Umar Haruna Doguwa has been removed from office.

“We wish to state that in respect of Kano state APC, no such decision has been taken by the NWC. Although, we are aware of issues in the Kano State chapter and efforts to find lasting solutions to the problem are ongoing”.

The party spokesman further explained that; “in view of this, the status-quo is maintained until the ongoing process is completed”, advising party members, stakeholders, leaders and indeed the general public to disregard the false reports.
