NNPC Group CEO Bayo Ojulari Leads Executive Delegation on Visit to Dangote Refinery
In a continued show of deepening corporate ties, the Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited, Bayo Ojulari, led a delegation of top executives on a working visit to the Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals on Saturday, February 21, 2026.
The delegation was received and hosted by Aliko Dangote, President and Chief Executive Officer of Dangote Industries Limited.
Confirming the high-profile tour, the Dangote Group shared photographs of the executives inspecting the massive facility via its official X (formerly Twitter) account.
“HAPPENING NOW: President/Chief Executive, Dangote Industries Limited, Aliko Dangote, hosts NNPC Group CEO, Bayo Ojulari, and top executives at the Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals, Saturday, 21 February 2026,” the company’s post read.
The strategic visit comes just weeks after Dangote Industries Limited formally sealed critical gas supply agreements with the NNPC covering three of its major subsidiaries.
It also follows recent indications of expanding financial commitments between the national oil company and the private refinery.
In November 2025, Ojulari disclosed that the NNPC was actively working on plans to increase its equity stake in the multi-billion-dollar Dangote refinery from its current 7.2 percent back to a 20 percent share.
