NiMet trains airline operators on e-flight folder app

By Ukpono Ukpong

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has concluded a two-day training for airline operators on the use of its e-flight folder, a cutting-edge web application designed to manage interactions and deliver flight folders to airlines and pilots electronically.

This is part of NiMet’s effort to modernize aviation processes in Nigeria, while leveraging technology for enhanced service delivery.

The e-flight folder streamlines the process of requesting or submitting flight schedules, accommodating both scheduled and non-scheduled flights seamlessly. Once submitted, the folders are instantly available for airline use, with integrated mechanisms for pilot and user feedback to enhance efficiency.

The training, held in Lagos on January 13th and 14th, 2025, provided an opportunity for NiMet to introduce the e-flight folder app to airline operators while also gathering feedback on its functionality and utility.
