NIM boss calls for strong institutions, national transformation

The President and Chairman of Council, Nigerian Institute of Management, Olukunle Iyanda, FNIM, on Monday in Kano, called for principled leaders and stronger institutions which would lead to national transformation.
Iyanda made the call during a two day National Conference organised by the Institute in Kano with the theme, re-engineering Leadership for National Transformation.
According to him, one reengineering element that Nigeria needs is a shift from relying on “strong men” and thrives to build strong institutions such as the National Assembly, the Civil Service, Political Parties and Security agencies; as such institutions are less susceptible to manipulation and Corruption.
He said that, there is a symbolic relationship between good leaders and strong institutions.
