Nigerians slam Bashir Ahmed for saying he tweeted on ‘Yunusa Yellow’ saga without understanding the case

The president personal assistant on new media, Bashir Ahmed has been called out on Twitter for commenting on Yunusa Yellow’s saga.

The 24-year-old, who tweeted in hausa promising to influence Yunusa Yellow’s judgement said he commented without knowing and understanding the details of the case.

I commented on the Yunusa Yellow saga earlier, without knowing and understanding the details of the case. Eloping or rather, kidnapping a minor and forcing her to marry you shouldn’t be taken lightly. A condemnable act!

Bashir claims he wasn't aware of the context of the request which he responded to but why did he respond in Hausa when the request was in English?
