Nigerian Breweries supports Immigration with medical equipment

The Nigerian Breweries has commissioned a Clinic, medical equipment and 100KVA generator to the Nigeria Immigration service as part of its Corporate Social Responsibly (CSR) to the country.
The newly constructed furnished Clinic, and the 100KVA Generator donated was recently commissioned at the Nigeria Immigration Passport Office, Ikoyi, Lagos by Mr. Johan Doyen, the MD/CEO.
The CEO, who was represented by the Director of Corporate Communication for Nigeria Breweries, Mr. Patrick Olowookere, in his speech, said the initiative was executed in line with the philosophy of winning with Nigeria and to confirm the company identities with the vision and mission of key stakeholder in the Nigeria project.
He explained that the philosophy has guided relationship the company have been nurtured and the partnerships the company have built within and outside government.
According to him, “In the last ten years, we have shared the vision of safer road in Nigeria with the Federal Road Safety corps through our Don’t Drink and Drive (DDD) campaign; we have also worked with the Nigeria Customs Service in its drive to improve government earning in Nigeria with our contribution to overall GDP by way of exercise payments and we have also seen contributes security patrol vehicles to the Nigeria Police Force as well as Nigerian Army by way of annual sports sponsorship among others.
“We have also executed similar initiative in the field of Health, Education, Youth empowerment and Talent development for other stakeholder; few weeks ago, we gathered together to identifies the 2017 Maltina Teacher of the year, the initiatives, motivates and rewards exemplary teacher in Nigeria as part of our educational contribution to the development of the country.
He added: “In addition to the donation of fully constructed and equipped classroom blocks to several communities across the country, the cooperation we get from the NIS as Nigeria gate keeper is a critical part of our overall success on annual basis.”
Speaking on behalf of Controller General of (NIS), Babandede Mohammed, the Assiastan Controller General (ACG) I.Y Hamad, commend the Nigeria Breweries of commissioning a laudable project to support the NIS as part of their social responsibility to the country.
He said, the Agency appreciates the effort of the management of Nigeria Breweries by put in place this structure of the newly constructed furnished clinic with 100KVA generator for effective and efficient immigration service.
