Nigeria, Pakistan to strengthen economic, military ties

The federal government has said that the Nigeria-Pakistan Joint Commission would be invigorated as a veritable platform to strengthen economic and trade relations between both countries.
The Permanent Secretary, Foreign Affairs Ministry Amb. Olukunle Bamgbose, said this on Tuesday in Abuja when the Pakistan High Commissioner designate to Nigeria, Maj.-Gen Wqar Ahmad kingravi (Rtd) visited him.
“We need to resuscitate the joint commission between the two countries; the last one we had was in Pakistan and the next one suppose to be in Nigeria soon.
“We normally use the platform to discuss the issue of mutual interest of both countries,” he said
