The Registrar and Chief Executive Officer, Institute of Public Administration of Nigeria (IPAN), Dr Emmanuel Olufowose, on Thursday, said that restructuring of Nigeria was not only desirable, but imperative.
Olufowose, who spoke in Abuja, at the Annual Conference of Public Administration, with the theme: “Public Sector Restructuring Renewed For Sustainable Growth and Developer in Nigeria,” noted that the present structure was not working.
He faulted the erroneous belief by some people that the restructuring would amount to dismemberment.
According to him, it is an acknowledgement that the way Nigeria runs today is a failure and that when something fails, an alternative should be employed.
